LuxSutures LUXCRYL PGA Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) Absorbable Braided Surgical Suture PG02HS48-1
LUXCRYL PGA Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) Absorbable Braided Surgical Sutures are indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation across a wide range of surgical procedures. Manufactured from synthetic polyglycolic acid (PGA), these sutures provide dependable tensile strength during the critical wound-healing phase, followed by predictable absorption through hydrolysis.
The braided multifilament construction offers excellent handling characteristics, flexibility, and reliable knot security, supporting precise placement and consistent results in professional clinical environments. The violet colouring improves visibility against tissue, aiding accurate suture placement and efficient intraoperative handling.
This variant is supplied in USP 2 (EP 5), 90 cm length, and fitted with an HS 48 (48 mm) taper cutting needle, combining controlled penetration with enhanced cutting efficiency for denser soft tissue. The taper cutting needle design supports smooth passage while maintaining precision and strength during closure.
LUXCRYL PGA sutures are widely used in hospitals, clinics, and surgical centres for their consistent quality, predictable absorption profile, and dependable clinical performance. Each box contains 12 sterile sutures, individually packaged to maintain sterility and ensure suitability for professional surgical use.
