Manufactured from synthetic polyglycolic acid (PGA), these sutures provide reliable tensile strength during the critical wound-healing phase, followed by predictable absorption through hydrolysis.

The braided multifilament construction delivers excellent handling characteristics, flexibility, and dependable knot security, supporting precise placement and consistent results in professional clinical environments. The violet colouring improves visibility against tissue, aiding accurate suture placement and efficient intraoperative handling.

This variant is supplied in USP 0, 90 cm length, and fitted with an HR 36 (36 mm) round-bodied taper needle, making it suitable for soft tissue closure where controlled penetration and minimal tissue trauma are required. The taper needle is designed to separate tissue fibres rather than cut them, supporting smooth passage through soft tissue and reliable approximation.
