The smooth monofilament structure allows low tissue drag and minimal tissue reaction, supporting precise placement and dependable knot security in clinical surgical environments. Absorption occurs through hydrolytic degradation, eliminating the need for suture removal while reducing long-term foreign material presence.

This variant is supplied in USP 3/0 (EP 2), 75 cm length, and fitted with a DS 19 (19 mm) reverse cutting needle, making it ideal for delicate skin and subcutaneous tissue closure where fine penetration and controlled cutting action are required.
