Ethicon VICRYL RAPIDE is a sterile synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and engineered for rapid absorption and short-term tensile strength retention.

The braided construction provides excellent handling characteristics and reliable knot security, making it suitable for soft tissue approximation where extended wound support is not required.

This USP 3-0 undyed variant measures 70 cm in length and is supplied with a 22 mm 1/2 circle Taper Point Plus needle, designed for smooth penetration through soft tissue with enhanced needle performance and reduced trauma.

VICRYL RAPIDE is formulated to lose tensile strength more rapidly than standard VICRYL sutures, making it ideal for skin closure and minor surgical procedures.
