Ethicon VICRYL RAPIDE is a sterile synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and engineered for rapid absorption and short-term tensile strength retention.

The braided construction provides excellent handling characteristics and reliable knot security, making it suitable for soft tissue approximation where extended wound support is not required.

This USP 2-0 undyed variant measures 90 cm in length and is supplied with a 36 mm 1/2 circle tapercut needle. The tapercut design combines a tapered body with a cutting tip to facilitate controlled penetration through denser or fibrous tissue.

VICRYL RAPIDE is formulated to lose tensile strength more rapidly than standard VICRYL sutures, making it ideal for skin closure and minor surgical procedures.

Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
