This USP 3-0 violet suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 22 mm tapercut needle with a 1/2 circle curvature, combining the penetrating efficiency of a cutting tip with the tissue-sparing characteristics of a taper body for controlled soft tissue closure.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional hospital and surgical environments.
