LuxSutures LUXCRYL PDO Absorbable Surgical Sutures are synthetic monofilament sutures manufactured from polydioxanone (PDO), designed to deliver extended tensile strength retention and predictable absorption for surgical procedures requiring longer-term wound support.

The smooth monofilament structure provides low tissue drag and reduced tissue reaction, supporting precise placement and dependable knot performance in clinical surgical environments. Absorption occurs through hydrolytic degradation, maintaining wound support throughout the healing phase without the need for suture removal.

This variant is supplied in USP 1 (EP 4), 90 cm length, and fitted with a DS 40 (40 mm) reverse cutting needle, making it suitable for soft tissue closure where controlled cutting action and strength are required, particularly in skin and subcutaneous tissue.

LUXCRYL PDO sutures are commonly used in general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic soft tissue repair, and other clinical applications where prolonged absorbable support is beneficial.
