The smooth monofilament structure ensures low tissue drag and minimal tissue reaction, supporting precise placement and reliable knot performance in clinical surgical environments. Absorption occurs through hydrolytic degradation, eliminating the need for suture removal while reducing long-term foreign material presence.

This variant is supplied in USP 5/0 (EP 1), 45 cm length, and fitted with a DS 19 (19 mm) reverse cutting needle, making it ideal for delicate skin and superficial tissue closure where controlled cutting action and accurate wound edge approximation are required.
