This PROLENE® Polypropylene Blue Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture with HEMOSEAL™ Technology, product code W8665, is engineered for reliable soft tissue approximation where enhanced sealing capability and permanent tensile strength are required. Manufactured from non-absorbable polypropylene monofilament, PROLENE® provides smooth tissue passage, minimal inflammatory response and durable wound stability.

The USP 4-0 (Metric 1.5) diameter offers balanced tensile performance suitable for dermal and general soft tissue closure. The 75 cm strand length supports accurate placement and secure knot tying across a wide range of surgical procedures.

This suture is fitted with a CC-4 TAPERCUT® micro-point needle. The TAPERCUT® micro-point configuration combines a tapered body with a finely engineered cutting tip, enabling controlled penetration of slightly resistant tissue while minimising trauma. HEMOSEAL™ Technology is designed to enhance sealing at the needle-to-suture interface, supporting improved haemostatic performance.
